Adelaide K. Jones

Adelaide JonesAdelaide Jones has been a Principal, on a project basis, with Phillips Oppenheim since 1992. Before that, she spent 10 years at Harvard University as an administrator where she designed and ran the first Career Services Office at the John F. Kennedy School of Government and then served as the Director of Admissions for the graduate program in International Law at the Harvard Law School.

Adelaide also worked with Lee Hecht Harrison Associates, conducting career development seminars for both small- and large-scale employee reductions in the work force. She began her career in Massachusetts state government, at the Executive Office of Human Services.

Adelaide is the Chair of the Board, and former Chair of the Capital Campaign at King & Low-Heywood Thomas, an independent day school in Stamford, Connecticut. She is also a former Board member of the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, a Board member of St. Aloysius School in Manhattan, and has raised money for the United Negro College Fund and various other nonprofit organizations.
