Mark J. Tarnacki

Mark J. TarnackiMark J. Tarnacki possesses a diverse industry background of recruiting leadership in both financial services and media prior to his arrival at Phillips Oppenheim in 2001. Leveraging his experience in higher education and the arts, Mark has executed nonprofit searches, including work with the International Rescue Committee, Community Foundation of New Jersey, Columbia University and the American Red Cross in Greater New York. Prior recruiting experience includes work as a Principal with Bishop Partners, specializing in media and entertainment, and with Sullivan & Company, as an Associate and Director of Information Services.

Earlier in his career as Assistant to the Dean of Students at Ashland University, and later as the Assistant Director of Residence Life at Drew University, Mark led the development of residence-based educational, cultural and community service programming.

Mark holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Rutgers College and a master’s degree in college student development from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is a former Board member and Program Director of the Executive Search Roundtable.
